The Vampire Diaries
The Vampire Diaries, most commonly referred to as TVD, is a highly rated television show that airs on the CW. Since it aired back on September 10, 2009, The Vampire Diaries has absolutely captured my heart! My love for romance, music, and family has grown deeper since I first met my favorite "vampire/human/werewolf" gang! Elena Gilbert, played by Nina Dobrev, has proven her tremendous talent ability by also playing her "doppleganger," Katherine Pierce. Dobrev gives beautiful performances each and every episode. I have even been known to cry on multiple occassions because I am so emotionally invested in the show. Although it is a fictional show, the entire cast of TVD puts on such brilliant performances that are truly genuine and very believable! All of the gorgeous guys are also not too bad on the eyes!

Already halfway through its sixth season, The Vampire Diaries never ceases to amaze me! People are becoming vampires, werewolves, and/or hybrids from left to right! It's an action-packed show about a love triangle between two absolutely gorgeous vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, and an innocent human girl, Elena Gilbert. TVD's constantly growing fans are divided between Team Stelena and Team Delena. In the beginning, I was Team Stelena. However, now I am a die-hard Delena supporter! Damon and Elena have that epic chemistry that we all search for in life! I am so proud to be a fan of this fantastic television series and am so happy to see it continue on for Season 7 in the Fall of 2015 (& hopefully it continues on for many more years!).
In addition to The Vampire Diaries' wonderfully written storylines, I believe that the music featured on TVD is always, and I mean ALWAYS, on point! I love every song that is incorporated into each scene of the show! One of my all-time favorite talents, Birdy, is a is a popular young artist that is a part of the TVD family, so to speak. A few of my favorite Birdy songs are entitled, "Skinny Love," "Shelter," "Without a Word," and "Wings." Birdy is just one of the numerous artists whom I love with a passion! Over the past 6 years, I have created YouTube playlists and customized iHeartRadio music stations of my favorite TVD songs. The terrific music adds to the emotional depth created by the writers and cast of amazing actors and actresses. Listen to some of my favorite TVD songs, from Season 1 to Season 6 (play below)!
